In December 1999, the Mineralogical Society of Queensland applied to the Australian Internet naming organisation to register the web address 'mineral.org.au'. We have recently been notified that this registration has been successful. As a consequence this website will be soon be able to be accessed via the address 'http://www.mineral.org.au'. The current web address will continue to be operational for some time. Easier access and more information is our goal, and we will continue to upgrade the site over the coming months.
