Eveline Weale, dealer, collector and hobbyist for a great many years and known to many of you was tragically killed in an accident in Gympie, north of Brisbane, Queensland on 5 August 1999. Eveline was an icon to all Australian lapidaries, collectors and fellow dealers over the past 30 years in Australia. She will be missed by Les, her husband of over 60 years, as well as her large extended family and her many friends gained in Australia and overseas.
