General Information about the Redcliffe Peninsula Lapidary Club The objects of the club are: To promote, advance and foster the art of lapidary, silverwork and associated crafts and to advance the social and intellectual welfare of the members by conducting functions of various kinds. The club has all the resources necessary to enable members to facet precious gems such as sapphire, cut cabochons from semi-precious and precious material such as agate and opal, fabricate silver and gold jewellery and carve objects from their choice of material. All members are to abide by the “Workshop Rules and Procedure” and are urged if possible to attend the Monthly General Meetings. |

Annual 2 day Gem Show 1st weekend of May featuring displays of lapidary, jewellery & other associated crafts by the club and dealers and tailgaters from Queensland and interstate. |
