General Information about the Redcliffe Peninsula Lapidary Club

There is a workshop fee of $3.00 for adult and $1.50 for juniors at each working visit. Club badges are available at$4.50 each. Membership fees are due for renewal on the 1st of January each year. Members joining after July 1st will pay 50% of the yearly fee and the whole of the joining fee.

A large selection of books on lapidary and allied subjects is available for members to borrow for a maximum of two weeks. Reference books are available but are not for loan and may not be removed from the club. Lapidary is an ideal family hobby, affording pleasure and information on the earth sciences to all members of the family, old and young, grandparents to grandchildren.

Field trips are arranged when convenient. Many of our members get together among themselves and decide on their own fossicking trips perhaps for one or two days or maybe up to a week at a time or longer.
